The Nandi Temple or the Bull Temple:Built back in 16th century by Kempegowda, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva�s vehicle Nandi (The Bull). Gangadhareswara Cave Temple (Gavipuram):On Makara Sankranti day (January), the rays of setting sun passes through a window, under a stone arch, between the two horns of the Nandi (Bull) and touches ShivaLinga (the Holy Phallus Symbol of God). There is an idol of God Agni (Fire) and there are four monolithic pillars bearing Shaivite emblems, in this cave temple.
